During our first Outreach trip to India’s Karnataka State in 2007, we saw the overwhelming needs in the slums. Along with the local fellowship there we wanted to bring Real Hope to the children in a tangible way, feeding both their souls and their bodies.

With the godly enthusiasm and busy hands of many there in Karnataka, we began a daily after school program that has now grown to minister to over 30 children! The kids come to 2 different homes after school and receive homework help and tutoring, daily Bible study and devotions, and what is for many their only hot meal of the day. On our visit in November  2009 we saw kids that have an intense love for the Lord and His Word, a great spirit of worship and an amazing and active confidence in prayer for their families and for their daily provision. In fact, we were so moved by the realness and intensity of their prayers that we now regularly send them our prayer requests! As a result of the visible changes in these kids’ lives, many of the families of these children are now attending the local Bible fellowship.
